WORLD TRIBAL DAY 2022    

International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples is celebrated on 09th August across the world. The celebration highlights the role of indigenous people and the importance of preserving their rights, communities and knowledge they gathered and passed down over centuries. The theme of International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples this year was “The Role of Indigenous Women in the Preservation and Transmission of Traditional Knowledge.” On this occasion, PARAS INDIA NGO has celebrated tribal day among tribal-dominated community in State of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. We have organized cultural program, awareness program on tribal welfare schemes, rally, Speech competition and prize  distribution etc.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2022

PARAS INDIA has celebrated International Yoga Day 2022 at all regional centers in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh with great enthusiasm.


The theme for International Yoga Day in 2022 was ‘Yoga for Humanity’, which was intended at bringing to light the physical, mental, and emotional state of people. This year the theme has been decided to keep in mind the important role that yoga has been playing in dealing with COVID-19. Involving yourself in Yoga not only benefits the mind and body but also instils love and compassion towards one another.
 

Coordinator of PARAS INDIA in his brief speech message exhorted the participants to adopt yoga in their daily life as a means for promoting positive physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, PARAS INDIA has organized Yoga session, awareness program and Yoga based quiz
competition for children, women and other community members to spread awareness and involve more & more people in Yoga and Meditation.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2022

World Environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness for positive environmental action to protect nature and the earth. It is a day that remind us on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities. During the celebration, PARAS INDIA has organized activities like plantations, awareness programs, rallies, street plays, drawing competitions, and wall painting which helped for creating awareness about the world environment.

INTERNATIONAL WOMAN DAY 2022

Every year, 8th March is globally observed as the International Women’s Day  for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The global theme for International Women’s Day in 2022 is Gender equality today for a Sustainable Tomorrow’. This year’s theme is all about recognizing and amplifying the important role for women and girls around the world play in addressing climate change. Various events were organized to sensitize society about gender equality and the empowerment of women in the areas of social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure. Rally of women were taken out in the community to bring women to the forefront. It was followed by a drawing and poster making competition whose winners were given gifts as a token of love. Meetings of women were taken where different issues concerning women like their social, political and financial issues were discussed. The celebration provided a medium to interact with women and find out their views on education, equality, health, and empowerment.

NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY 2022

It is observed on 24 January to spread awareness about the inequalities faced by girls in Indian society, and to promote awareness about the rights of the girl child and the importance of female education, health, and nutrition. During the celebration, we have organized several campaigns to increase knowledge of girls and their parents about the Domestic violence Act 2009, Prohibition of child marriage Act 2006, and Dowry prohibition Act 2006 and the Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao scheme.
